Prices of vegetables are soaring these days.
The only way to overcome this problem is to plant some in our backyard. Or container gardening would be of help if those who stay in "taman" have not enough space at the place where they are staying.
Sone easier to grow veges include long beans.
The preparation for long beans is not difficult at all. You only need some sticks and rope and tie them in a line from which the seedlings will grow up.
My wife had planted several commonly used veges like ladies finger, eggplant, murunga, curry leaves, avarakkaa etc that come handy on daliy usage.
I have tried tomatoes and found its easier to grow too.
